Livin It extreme

"Wow" is my initial response to livin it, a video documentary on the world of Christian extreme sports athletes. If you skate or are a BMX biker, or have one as a friend or loved one, then this movie is a must see!

The basis of this well-done video, directed by actor Stephen Baldwin - his most recent movie being Six - is following eleven Christian athletes (four BMX and seven skate) for fourteen days in Portland, Oregon. livin it was first announced during a conference call with Baldwin that was sponsored by Dare 2 Share.

The Christian testimony of the athletes wasn't brought forward until near the end of the video, making it an awesome tool for witnessing and outreach. In addition to the documentary, the DVD also contained interviews with six of the extreme athletes and Baldwin, during which each shared his personal testimony.

Jon Greer summed it up this way - it's not super rad if you're riding/skating for self glory.

I wouldn't die for bike riding, but I would for Christ, explained Bruce Crisman.

Vic Murphy simply stated that when he went searching for truth, Jesus showed up.

Even though I'm not personally into skates or freestyle BMX, livin it really brought it home and put life into perspective - it will for you too!
